Hello Visiteur, Hi everybody!
* New Album coming *
What am I looking at on the horizon? A brand new album I'm workin' on since April. As I've had health problems since more than one year (not such as bad as what I've been through ten years ago), I needed rest and chose not to go on tour this year. Then inspiration came to visit and I couldn't let it go away so I started writing new song!
Guitarists do know how a new instrument make you play better and get new ideas. The arrival in July in my life of this beautiful National Style "0" resonator guitar (one year older than my Duolian) was a kick in the ass to my creativity. As you can see, I went for isolation and I worked better than ever. As you know I only perform what I write myself, so I want the best for this new album, which is gonna be my fifth, including my recent double live album "this Magic will Buck you up!" I'm on pre-production now, that means I first record at home every one of the dozen songs I have, to be really sure of what I'll have to do later, when I'm in the real studio for the definitive recording sessions with the man sayin' "rollin!"... Now I want to be able to change anything I want, tune or words, and be sure of this new material... I
And, never did this before, there will be, after a five days live rehearsal in a beautiful venue, a special concert to present you this brand new material right before I go to the studio. Then it's gonna be 2017.
