1934 Kalamazoo KG14
Exactly the same as my Gibson, but made by Kalamazoo, low-price pre-war Gibson catalog. Made many Bluesmen happy, because cheaper, meanwhile very good guitars.
I heard that Robert Johnson who used lots of guitars, stolen or broken in juke-joints, has had several Kalamazoo models. Incredible, it sounds better than my Gibson, and very comfortable with its "V" neck. Exactly the old records' sound ! Unfortunately it’s very fragile so I never take it with me on the road, it’s only for pleasure and recording... No transducer of course!
