Gibson ES 345 - 1976
1976 - Stereo version of the 335, just before the "de luxe" model 355, with Varitone. Perfect to play Chicago Blues, or John Lee Hooker... To my opinion, the best guitar to play electric Blues.
I don't bring it on the road for the same reasons than the Dove. I used it once on record for the ultra-saturated "Injun Boogie" (Love & Light). I have two of them - both1976 dated - one cherry (favorite), other brown, and love to plug with no effects but vibrato into my favorite amp, a Fender Silverface Twin Reverb, with original JBL speakers.
